What is the difference between a truck body and container?

A truck body is the top portion or body part of a straight truck. The truck body is constructed to handle light loads. The walls are constructed of fiberglass or aluminum.

A Storage Container or shipping container is made of 19 or 21 ply flooring and made to handle heavy loads. The walls and roof of the container are made of corten steel. The shipping container can easily be distinguished by the 8 corner castings. Corner castings are along the corners of the container and used for stacking containers.
