Can I operate an Office Container or Office Trailer with only 30 amps of power?
Unfortunately, our Office Containers and Trailers are designed to operate with a 100-amp power supply. Operating these units with only 30 amps will lead to insufficient power distribution, which can cause issues such as flickering lights and inefficient functioning of the air conditioning and heating systems. To ensure your Office Container or Trailer operates correctly and to avoid any inconvenience, please ensure a 100-amp power supply is available.
The digital thermostat in my office container or office trailer is not functioning correctly. What should I do?
If you’re experiencing issues with your digital thermostat, the first step is to replace the batteries. It’s important to note that even if the thermostat’s display is illuminated and shows the temperature, it might not be operating correctly. After replacing the batteries, if the thermostat still doesn’t work as expected, we’re here to help. Am I able to charge my electric vehicle with you Mobile Offices?
Yes, you can charge your electric vehicle with all of our units by connecting directly to a standard 120-volt plug. We are currently testing out new 125-250v single phase chargers on a limited number of our mobile offices. Please inquire with our sales team if you have any questions.
I am interested in getting tie downs put in place to secure my Office Trailer. Do I need to call an agency before putting tie downs in Office Trailers?

Can I have a 10′ x 40′ office trailer delivered at a specific time?
Delivering a 10′ x 40′ Office Trailer requires an oversized permit, which we need to schedule with the relevant state(s). Unforeseen weather conditions like rain, snow, or high winds can lead to postponements by the state(s). We maintain open communication with our customers when arranging delivery to ensure clarity and understanding.
My HVAC thermostat is not working correctly. Can I get it serviced by Eagle Leasing?
If your thermostat contains a battery, please try changing the battery first. If the Office Trailer or Office Container still does not work, you can call us at 800 GET Eagle (438-3245), and we will service your thermostat.
What measures are necessary for the safe delivery of an Office Trailer from Eagle Leasing?
To ensure a safe delivery of an Office Trailer from Eagle Leasing, there are a few key requirements. First, you will need a 2 5/16 ball hitch lock to securely attach the trailer. Additionally, it is essential to have a breakaway box installed, which serves as a protective measure during transportation. The breakaway box includes a chain and a box that secures the ball hitch area. This precaution becomes crucial in case the trailer encounters a pothole while on the road, as it helps prevent the trailer from dislodging off the ball hitch and potentially causing an accident.
Where can I find the hookup to the electrical connection of an Office Trailer?
In most of our Office Trailers this will be the way to find the electrical hookup. Enter the Office Trailer and go into the room closest to the front of the Office Trailer (you can see the ball hitch in front of you). You will find an electrical panel on the left side wall. In the center of the electrical panel is an 1.5 inch conduit located directly below the center of the panel which drops below the floor of the Office Trailer. The point where 1.5 inch conduit comes into the floor is where you would hook up the Office Trailer.
Can an Office Trailer or Office Container be hooked up to a generator?
While it is best to hook up office equipment directly to electrical lines, a generator can be used if it is hard wired into the panel and has 50 amps of service.
Do your Mobile Offices come equipped with bathrooms?
Unfortunately we do not offer any Mobile Offices with bathrooms included.
What is the load rating for Eagle Leasing’s Office Trailer stairs?
The Office Trailer stairs have a 300lb point load or a 100lbs per square foot load.
What are the electrical requirements for your Office Trailers?
Mobile Office Trailers Power Requirements
The Office Trailers require 220-volt, single-phase, 100-amp service. Your electrician can easily provide this to the electrical panel in the trailer. While it is best to hook up office equipment directly to electrical lines, a generator can be used if it is hard wired into the panel and has 50 amps of service. Please be sure to follow the standards of the NFPA to ensure your worksite is safe.Is it a good idea to store items on the roof of my container?
It is not the roof of the container which is designed to handle weight, it is the corner castings. By storing items on the roof of the container, it may compromise the structural integrity of the container and possibly cause the container to leak. It is best not to store items on top of the container to assure your contents remains dry.
How is an Office Trailer heated and cooled?
All of Eagle Leasing’s 8 wide Office Trailers are heated by baseboard heating and cooled by wall mounted air conditioning units. Eagle Leasing’s 10 foot wide Office Trailers are heated and cooled by a Bard central air conditioning and heat pump mounted in the nose of the Office Trailer.
How much weight can you store in a 28′ Office Trailer Combo?
The maximum allowable load inside a 28-foot Office Trailer combo is 520 pounds.
What are the advantages of an Office Trailer and an Office Container?
An Office Container allows you the ease of walking right into your office and it is built with the strength of a steel ISO shipping container. The interior door(s) are steel and the office container and/or office storage container is more rugged. When the water table is high, an Office Trailer is a great way of keeping your office and storage above the water table. An office trailer can be moved with a 2-5/16-inch ball hitch with a breakaway box.
What is the difference between an Office Container and Office Trailer?
Office Trailers
An Office Trailer is a mobile office unit that sits off the ground on wheels. It is best suited in a situation where the water table is high. OSHA-approved stairs are provided to walk into the mobile office, which helps keep the unit clean. An office trailer can be moved with a 2-5/16-inch ball hitch.
Office Containers
An Office Container is a mobile office that sits directly on the ground and is built from an ISO steel shipping container, making it very durable and secure. Eagle Leasing’s ground-level office (GLO) is equipped with a pebbled fiberglass interior, steel doors and other premium features. Unlike office trailers, office containers do not require stairs to access the interior, and there is no block and leveling or tiedowns necessary to secure the unit. All our office containers feature an external GFI (ground fault circuit interrupter) for protection against electrical shocks.
Are Hurricane ties needed for an Office Trailer?
While not all of the areas we service are the most hurricane-prone places in the country, sometimes we may get a hurricane. Many customers get hurricane tie-downs for their mobile offices for peace of mind. Office Trailers require the following number of tie downs:
Each hurricane tie requires two cross drivers in order to properly secure the trailer to the ground. 
- 20-foot Office Trailers require four hurricane ties.
- 28-foot Office Trailers require six hurricane ties.
- 32-foot Office Trailers require six hurricane ties.
- 36-foot Office Trailers require six hurricane ties.
- 40-foot Office Trailers require eight hurricane ties
Each hurricane tie requires two cross drivers in order to properly secure the trailer to the ground. 
Are stairs included with your Office Trailers?
Yes, all of our Office Trailers include slip-resistant aluminum stairs. The dimensions of the stairs are 28 inches by 35 inches.
What are the electrical requirements for my mobile office?
If the incoming voltage is less than 216V, the primary power tap at the transformer must be changed from the “240V” spade to the “208V” spade. Failure to do so will cause a control voltage of 18V or less, which will lead to erratic (or no) operation in the contactors and relays. It will also cause thermostat failure. Please have an electrician wire your Office Container or Office Trailer to ensure safe and proper electrical hookup.
How many hurricane ties are required for Office Containers and Office Trailers?
While Office Containers do not require hurricane ties since they are a ground-level Office (GLO). Office Trailers require the following:
- 20 foot Office Trailers require 4 hurricane ties.
- 28 foot Office Trailers require 6 hurricane ties.
- 32 foot Office Trailers require 6 hurricane ties.
- 36 foot Office Trailers require 6 hurricane ties.
- 40 foot Office Trailers require 8 hurricane ties.
