Also called a “Lowboy” the Double-Drop flatbed is used to haul equipment or items that are taller than a flatbed or single-drop trailer can accommodate. This trailer is often used to haul Machinery, or oversized cargo. Because the deck is is at a height that the cargo can often be driven onto the trailer deck from ground level.
